The 1PH7 three-phase motors are compact, force-ventilated squirrel-cage induction motors with degree of protection IP55. The motors are ventilated, as standard, using a mounted separately-driven fan unit. The motor can be ordered either with the air flow from the motor drive shaft end (DE) to the motor non-drive shaft end (NDE) - or vice versa. They have been designed specifically for use in conjunction with converters. Depending on the control requirements, the appropriate encoder systems are available for the motors.
